March 2026 - This is the story of how Lupint House came into existence.
The word Lupint came to me in a dream. I saw and heard the word "Lupin", then "no...Lupint. Lupint. Lupint." The word repeated itself, insistently, until I woke up. Alert. The coined word etched in my mind. I was very curious as to why this word came to me in my sleep. I knew about Lupin, the fictional gentleman thief, but is it about him? If so, why the extra "t"? I went about my morning routine.
Lu-pint. Pint. The two pint-sized organizing books I wrote more than a decade ago flashed through my mind. Ah. My two latest books turned out to be pint-sized too! Two Simple Circles is about an original framework and Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light is about reframing how we may see things. Luminating ideas. Lu-pint.
Oh! The word is the name for my publishing imprint! I wanted to find a good home for my books, and what better home than the one I may give it?
And Lupint House was born. Not only for the books I am currently working on, but also for all the luminating pint-sized books that may come to me.
