Two Simple Circles:
Healing within Living, and Conscious Mind within Consciousness

Lupint House | Release No. 1

Two Simple Circles by Dr. Nicole Lee, published by Lupint House.

Book Summary

Two Simple Circles is written for those who have done significant inner or healing work, and sense that something has shifted within. Yet what lies ahead remains unclear. Is it more inner work? Post-healing? Transcendence?

What if…it is simply living, as a primary experience, not filtered through the lens of healing?

This book describes exactly that.

Drawing on more than two decades of combined medical, therapeutic and personal inner work, Dr. Nicole Lee distils lived experience into a framework of just two simple circles.

Through the Healing–Living Circle and the Conscious Mind–Consciousness Circle, she introduces an original experiential framework for recognising that healing has always been a part of living, meaning and insight from consciousness can arise without being sought, and where attention or identification is centred determines how life is experienced.

Written in a concise and contemplative style, this book does not offer another technique or prescription. It simply describes the structural relationships already present within one's experience.

With this awareness, recognition and transition may then follow.

Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light

Lupint House | Release No. 2

Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light by Dr. Nicole Lee, published by Lupint House.

Book Summary

Is everything the way we see it? Or think we see it? The eyes play tricks as does the mind. What remains is just the willingness to see the same thing in a different light.

Written in a voice that is sparse, honest, and sometimes playful, Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light is a collection of contemplative passages, each born from a single word drawn from the tapestry of human experience. The passages do not explain or instruct. They simply offer a different angle of light on words the reader already knows.

The opening passage:

(-)

Silence

Between sounds.
Between words.
Between thoughts.
Between breaths.

Between the last scream of the mother
And the first cry of the baby.

Between the cheers of the crowd
And the victory of the goal.

Between the end of the joke
And the outburst of the laughter.

Between the completion of the journey
And the beginning of another.

(-)

This collection stands on its own. It is also a companion volume to Dr. Nicole Lee's earlier work, Two Simple Circles, for those emerging from long periods of healing back into living.

Through every line, pause, and angle, the thirty-six passages within invite the reader to explore what the experience of living means to them.

Softening the Inner Hardness

Lupint House | Release No. 3

Softening the Inner Hardness by Dr. Nicole Lee, published by Lupint House.

Book Summary

How does one
Soften a hardened heart?
Settle a circling mind?
Rest a fatigued body?

Softening the Inner Hardness is a collection of thirty meditative passages written for all the tired souls out there who have been through enough, but may not yet have recognised that.

Perhaps the guilt, regret, fear or shame
Carried over the years
Are all yearning
To be
Witnessed with honesty, and
Released with compassion.

Within this book
Allow yourself to sit with each word
Presented through unexpected perspectives
Sometimes direct
Sometimes tender
Sometimes poignant, but
Ultimately very human.

At the end of the journey
Perhaps you will find yourself
A little less tired
A little more seen.

This collection stands on its own. It is also a companion volume to Dr. Nicole Lee's earlier work, Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light, which offers a different angle of light on how we perceive.

The Wholeness of a Part

Lupint House | Release No. 4 | New

Book Summary

How can a part be whole? What if a whole is simply a part?

The Wholeness of a Part is a collection of thirty-three reflective, playful, and inquiring passages, taking the reader on a journey from where parts and wholes seem distinct, through perceiving what makes a part or a whole, and finally to the wonder of where parts and wholes begin and end.

Some passages are born from captured moments in living. Others unfold from contemplation on words drawn from various fields of study. Together, they turn ordinary, unexpected language into frames for how one may discern fragments and completion through an open, inquisitive lens.

The opening passage:

(-)

Audience

The audience watches
Enraptured.

The performer plays
Embodied.

Expression flows
From the performer
To the audience.

Attention flows
From the audience
To the performer.

Both parts merge
To form
The whole of experience.

(-)

This collection stands on its own. It also shares a thread with Dr. Nicole Lee's earlier work, Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light, both offering oblique perspectives on seemingly familiar language.

The Magic and Mystery in the Ordinary

Lupint House | Release No. 5 | New

Book Summary

Magic and mystery do not live in magical lands, but in everyday life.

The Magic and Mystery in the Ordinary is a collection of thirty-two observational passages, inviting the reader on an adventure of simply noticing the intrigue and wonder right within, around, and beyond us.

Open the pages and your mind to step into vivid scenes of beauty and mystique, inner explorations of imagination and dreams, soulful journeys through longing and remembering, fairy tales long forgotten by the adult mind, and other discoveries of the extraordinary in the ordinary.

The opening passage:

(-)

Magic

Does not live in magical lands.

But in everyday life.

In corners we don't see.
At junctions we have to face.
On journeys to new places.
To meet people we have yet to know.

And it happens
When we
Simply
Allow.

(-)

This collection stands on its own. It also echoes the spirit of Dr. Nicole Lee's earlier works, Seeing the Same Thing in a Different Light and The Wholeness of a Part, each asking what may happen when we simply look a little closer.

Feelings We Don’t Name (Yet)

Lupint House | Release No. 6 | New

Book Summary

Isn’t it interesting that there are still feelings (actually, quite a lot of them) that we have not named?

Fret not. There are now thirty-one fewer unnamed feelings, each given an intuitively coined word in this collection unsubtly titled Feelings We Don’t Name (Yet).

The passages are listed alphabetically, in keeping with a dictionary layout, though not every letter made the cut, and some letters are overused, as a tribute to how some rarely discussed feelings are actually so universal.

The opening passage:

(-)

Artidore

She paints her first painting.
Then the next.
And the next.

Her hands flow
The colours merge
Her visions expressed
As if they have been all bottled within her
Waiting for release.

The state of artidore doesn't come often.

But when it does
Magic happens.

(-)

This collection stands on its own. It also naturally pairs with Dr. Nicole Lee's earlier work, Softening the Inner Hardness, both giving recognition to the depth and range of what we feel.
