Wabi-Sabi

A beautiful Japanese concept
That has nothing to do with wasabi.

Though the spiciness of wasabi
Could be considered a form of transient pain, yet appreciated.

To knowingly choose that aliveness
In this very moment

Because one is certain that
The experience will be impermanent.

And perhaps that is why
The soul chooses this very life.

No matter what lies within living
The soul is experiencing aliveness

And it knows
This
Won't be forever.

(-)
